i have just answered to an ex-SY, that is relevant to what i have been trying to say at the thread above regarding the Asian tsunami. And from recent private emails received from those who have left it is clear that they have little idea what Sahaja Yoga is actually all about:

"Can't sleep, so just to finish off about the friend from SY - this is the person I have recently visited who was in Sajah Yoga for years. I don't know if it is up to me to say whether he ever knew what Sahaj Yoga was about or not. I don't know if I knew either! ....

I have just looked at a link on the "adishakti.org" site which talks about the May 5th 2000 planetary line up which seemed so important to me at the time (re my previous email). Yet no one has ever really discussed this with me, so I only have my own ideas to go on - I'll have a good read of that link later. It would have been nice if when I was in Sahaj Yoga and told the leader of my local group that I had had some kind of "insight" about the grand cross alignment he or someone could have talked to me about it and explained why it was important. Perhaps he did not know himself. Yet the leader was a nice and sincere person and I would very much doubt that he has left the movement. ....

With me I think for all my personal faults I do have a very deep understanding of spiritual matters and I find it hard to find anyone who can really discuss things with me on a deep level. This may sound like I am full of my own self importance, which I may well be, but I hope you can see what I am saying here. It is like Einstein trying to talk to a child about his theory of relativity! He might love the child and like talking to him/her, but the child just has no idea of what he is talking about and can only see things in their own limited understanding. This was I think like me whilst I was in Sahaj Yoga. I don't think that the leader of the group or the friend I have just visited had really any idea what I was talking about. I don't think anyone I spoke to had really, so they just thought I was talking nonsense or just ignored what I was saying. Instead they were saying that what I was experiencing was not Sajah Yoga, whilst as you say, talking about lemons and chillies, whatever! So I got frustrated and left. There are many things that other people can teach me which I need to learn, but I also think there are things that I can teach other people, but I don't seem to be able to find anyone to "hear" me!" (end of quote)

i am posting all the faults and shortcomings of SYs, including how the behavior of a few reflects on many. Seekers have no means of getting answers to their queries, even regarded as negative should they persist. Continuously telling them to use lemons, chillies and coconuts to clear chakras (problems!?) only exacerbates the frustration and expedites their departure. The same scenario is repeated all over the world.

Until and unless this organization becomes more transparent and forthright about its core message, and give evidence and answers as to its claims we will continue losing 99% of all new seekers. Giving them self-realization is one thing. Explaining truthfully and making them thoroughly understand why self-realization is necessary for taking part in the Great Event is another thing altogether. Let's stop blaming them for leaving in ignorance and start admitting that our lack of faith and abundance of fear in the public accepting the Divine Message is the root of all failures.

The initial few weeks/months are so critical in establishing new seekers in participating in the Great Event ordained for humanity. Failure to do so will result in almost all leaving, whether immediately or after some time. Satya is just another disillusioned seeker who will never return again. Had we SYs been honest and forthright right from the beginning it may have perhaps established her faith. Do SYs think it is about time to tell the truth about the Divine Message? Or is it true that most SYs can only explain Sahaja Yoga in a subtle system mindset?

Till today October 29, 2006 they are yet unable to muster the courage conviction to publicly admit even Her true identity, let alone Her Divine Message to humanity!

Sahaja Writing
Sunday, October 29, 2006

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Sahaja Writing is a newspaper devoted to encouraging Sahaja Yogis to write, in a way that communicates the truth of our extraordinary experiences and transformations to the rest of the world. Sahaja Yogis are free to improve what is written here, or to suggest how it might be improved.

Please see it at: http://sahajawriting.blogspot.com and send submissions or comments to info@daisyamerica.com

Above all, please support this initiative with your bandhans, love and contributions.

"Are we, as Sahaja yogis, "creatures without experience, without the ability to think, reason and create"? Clearly we are not the former, indeed the plethora of our extraordinary experiences, if we can find a way of expressing them in a form that would communicate them to the rest of humankind, could play a role in creating the environment that would bring about the desire for human beings to be enlightened, thence transformed. We don't think too much, at least not in the random uncontrolled fashion of most people, but maybe we have to be able to find a way to express ourselves effectively to the rest of humankind? Can we reason and create? It is to be hoped that in time, yogis will produce works of art that will trail-blaze the new Jerusalem that our children will undoubtedly see. I am reminded of a comment, by Grégoire de Kalbermatten, that we are the foundation of the building, and foundations are always a bit roughly finished and eventually buried under the ground. But what goes on top of the foundations, the finished and polished work, is what people will see - our children and grandchildren.

I hope that some of us will write and offer a description of the joys and power of innocence and of thoughtless awareness.

I don't think that the way to answer the inadvertent silliness and nonsense within writing such as the above, is to deal with it line by line, but instead, as Grégoire has so valiantly attempted, with his novel The Legend of Dagad Trikon, and now recently, Linda Williams with the first volume in her Keys of Wisdom trilogy, we need now to `set out our stall' in the mainstream of society and to publicly stand up for what we believe in, what we know as truth, through the grace of our Holy Mother, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, the living God."

Shri Mataji had indeed tried unsuccessfully since the 1980s to convince Her devotees to openly proclaim Her advent and Divine Message.

"Tell all the nations and tell all the people all over the Great Message that the Time of Resurrection is here. Now! At this time, and that you are capable of doing it."

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

"I am the Adi Shakti. I am the One who has come on this Earth for the first time in this form to do this tremendous task . The more you understand this the better it would be. You will change tremendously. I knew I'll have to say that openly one day and we have said it. But now it is you people who have to prove it that I am that!"

Shri Adi-Shakti Devi
Sydney, Australia - March 21, 1983

"Today, Sahaja Yoga has reached the state of Mahayoga, which is en- masse evolution manifested through it. It is this day's Yuga Dharma. It is the way the Last Judgment is taking place. Announce it to all the seekers of truth, to all the nations of the world, so that nobody misses the blessings of the Divine to achieve their meaning, their absolute, their spirit."

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

Over the decades the Sahaja Yoga leadership have given various excuses and reasons for being unable to do so. Till today Sunday, October 29, 2006 they are unable to muster the courage and conviction to publicly admit even Her true identity, let alone Her Divine Message to humanity!

Alan Wherry, it is still all hype, hypocrisy and hot air,
